My friends really got me into Assassin's creed. Its been I think about three weeks since I bought ACII for myself and since then not only have I beaten ACII but also Brotherhood and now Revelations after last night. I've got plans to start playing through AC3 this weekend once I've completed the work I have to do for this week. I'm looking forward to it. I was honestly surprised how quickly I got through the last two games of the 'Ezio Saga' after it took me almost a week of daily playing to get through ACII. I'm not entirely sure if its because the later games or shorter or that I've gotten better, I'm going to say it is a mix of both. It has certainly been an interesting and fun experience to play the three games pretty much back to back while I try to catch up with the series before the release of AC4
Now when I say "got me into Assassin's Creed" I really mean they got me into Assassin's creed. Upon beating the first game I borrowed the noval from ~
Everstone, (kinda funny as I was the one to buy it for her birthday about two years ago) and I went through and added some of my favourite OST's from the first game. I even have plans with ~
Everstone to cosplay together after we complete the HSC and go pester the people in, I'm sure you guessed it, AC related cosplay. If we can, we'll film it and put it up on youtube for your amusement.
Well my 18th birthday is approaching on the 31st. I'm not even really sure if I'm feeling eager about it. I mean I'm looking forward to the party I'm having with my friends from school but I'm not too sure I'm looking forward to being 18. I'll not only be an adult but also much closer to the trial HSC exams that start early june. I'll have to party pretty hard since I'll be dead for a few weeks afterwards, urgh. My friends have been asking what I want for my birthday but damn am I finding it hard. I've actually had to stop and write a list and even then its short compared to the 10+ guest list. Anyways, not like the gifts matter all that much, I just want to spend an awesome night with my school friends.
As far as art stuff goes, I'm still rather quiet. I've been having a bit of art block recently as well as being busy with school. It isn't so much that I'm having trouble thinking of what to draw but more that I'm unsatisfied with my current way of colouring. I want to play around until I can find the right sort of style or the style that I want, at least for now. I've been doing a few rough sketches every now and then but nothing really worth putting up or putting the effort in to properly line art.
Edit: forgot to include earlier, so I'm doing it now. I wanted to thank ~
darthsteve09 for commissioning this epic picture of Mizuki dressed as an assassin as an early birthday present. Thanks ~
darthsteve09 !

and im sorry for the huge amount of waiting D:
