Sai Color Practice: Flame Colonel

Been wanting to try a new coloring style for a while before I continue on with coloring some of my own pictures that I've currently flat colored. I got a bit of a head cold (couldn't think enough to rp >_<) and a bit of time so I did this. I used a lineart as I'm sure you can tell because I honestly couldn't be bothered to draw countless sketchs to color. I can't find the original one that was uploaded so I left the writing of the username on the picture so people can tell I didn't do the lines.

The whole thing was done in SAI (minus background which was done in photoshop) and I was pretty happy how this came out. Coloring like this comes out more detailed than using an air brush but it takes much longer to do.

Bit of a meh background. I couldn't really think of much without overcrowding it or taking the focus away from Roy so I just kept it simple. Used a brush pack ([link]) for the transmutation circle in the back.

Like to know what you think. I only want feedback for the coloring. Thanks.
